Mark is a Director of the firm and has been practising in commercial litigation and international arbitration since 1999. He brings over two decades of experience in resolving complex, high-value disputes across a broad range of industries.
Mark’s practice spans commercial, corporate, banking, construction, shipping, and commodity trading disputes. He has acted for multinational corporations, international banks, and high-net-worth individuals in litigation before the High Court and Court of Appeal of Singapore, as well as in arbitration proceedings under the rules of many leading arbitral institutions including the SIAC, HKIAC, ICC, and AAA.
Since 2009, Mark has been consistently recognised by leading legal directories and publications, including Global Arbitration Review, Chambers Asia-Pacific, Legal 500, IFLR1000, and Benchmark Litigation. In Legal 500’s 2018 edition, he was recommended as a leading lawyer in the Singapore Shipping category and praised as “quality and responsive” in the International Arbitration section. Most recently, Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific 2025 recognised him as a Litigation Star in the area of Commercial and Transactions disputes.
Beyond his legal practice, Mark has contributed to legal education, having previously tutored in Trial Advocacy at the National University of Singapore.
