Elizabeth brings deep expertise in building and scaling institutions, having served as the Founding General Counsel and Company Secretary of both GXS Bank, one of only two digital full banks licensed in Singapore, and Asia Pacific Exchange, where she played a key role in securing regulatory approvals. She is widely recognised for her leadership in corporate and commercial matters, with proven track record in regulatory licensing, corporate governance, banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions, technology and data, complex commercial negotiations, and charity and sustainability. Elizabeth is purpose-driven and execution-focused, with a career spanning leading institutions including J.P. Morgan, Meta, and top-tier law firms. She also serves on the boards of IPC-status organisations, reflecting her commitment to impact and good governance.

  • Founding General Counsel & Company Secretary, GXS Bank (Grab-Singtel digital bank): Led the legal and governance workstreams to secure one of Singapore’s first digital full bank licences. Played a key role in building the bank’s entities, products, partnerships, and financing. Served on core management committees: Management, Data, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Disciplinary Committees.

  • Founding General Counsel & Company Secretary, Asia Pacific Exchange: Helped secure Singapore’s 3rd derivatives exchange and clearing house licences, supporting legal, compliance, and operational readiness.

  • Private Practice, Top-Tiered Law Firm in Singapore: Advised on a broad range of corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters for leading corporates and investors in Southeast Asia.
