As one of the few Singapore-qualified lawyers bilingual in English and Japanese, Edward serves on the Japan Desk, representing Japanese clients in international arbitration and litigation.

Edward handles arbitrations governed by various laws, including those of Singapore, Japan and Indonesia, which are conducted in various institutions such as the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). Edward also appears regularly before the Singapore High Court, focusing on enforcement of foreign judgments and cross-border litigation.

From his experience in dispute resolution, Edward also provides general corporate commercial advice for effective risk mitigation. He is also retained by several Japanese businesses for such legal advice.

Before attending law school at the Singapore Management University (SMU), Edward spent a stint studying the politics of Japan at Waseda University in Tokyo, where he was selected as the cohort valedictorian. He then graduated from the SMU with a Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD, Magna Cum Laude), and was then called to the Singapore Bar in May 2023.

数少ない日英バイリンガルのシンガポール法弁護士として、ジャパンデスクにて勤務し、国際仲裁と訴訟で日系企業の代理人を勤める。

シンガポール、日本、インドネシア等諸国の法律に準拠された、シンガポール国際仲裁センター（SIAC）、国際商業会議所（ICC）等の仲裁機関にての仲裁経験に加え、特に海外判決の承認執行及びクロースボーダー訴訟を含み、高等裁判所にて代理人を頻繁に勤める。

紛争解決の経験を踏まえて、リスク管理を目的として一般企業法務も提供する。そのため、日系企業複数社の顧問弁護士も務める。

シンガポール経営大学法科大学院卒業後、2023年5月にシンガポール法弁護士として登録。かつて、大学生として早稲田大学へ留学し、留学生代表として選定されたことがある。
